I am still here keeping an eye on things and passing the fence ocassionally for the odd meeting nearby. I note the o'connor don is now no longer the o'connor don. maybe it's time for an update. let's make 200u the year. yours, fm.

happy new year, all fence fags! crikey...can't believe it's nearly february and i'm the first to message this year...oh, indeed, where did those days go?...life seemed so free and easy when we all messaged here and annoyed that old broken man we knew as fencemaster...just what is he up to these days?...where is ulrika?...s/he was so witty...how cosy the fencelist has become these days...is it right to contemplate reactivating this message page; attempting to make is as fun to visit as it was all those years ago...or just leave it to rust and gather moss/dust?...help us Gareth; you are the only one to save us from dull days at work now that fency has dissolved into dispair...

Oh Fencemaster I haven't looked at your site for 5 long humourless years. You used to email me directly do you remember? I miss those witty synicisms. The cheeky banter. I gave up on the fence site, it all got too out of hand. Wasn't funny anymore. I remember your spin off site www.thetrainlie.com. Oh this brings back memories of long work hours wasted. I work very near the fence now, maybe I will visit it and take some flowers. Do drop me a line.

5 long, long years ago i stumbled on to your site. ah, those were glorious days, we didn't even know what a blog was back then. this week a came across a site that reminded me of the fencemaster, so i figured i would pop back along memory lane and what do i see, a new post, huzzah!
